AAA's 10* NBA PLAYOFF TOTAL OF YEAR!
(NBA) Atlanta vs. Brooklyn,
Total: 195.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 195.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Win
This is a 10* NBA PLAYOFF TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the OVER between the Atlanta Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets.
Despite having a 2-1 series lead, if you're an Atlanta Hawks fan you surely have to be concerned with the way your team has performed to this point. And if you're a Nets fan, you have to be feeling pretty optimistic right about now. While the first three games of this series have all fallen well below the posted number, I think the conditions are now finally right for a higher-scoring shootout and expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. Remember, Atlanta averaged 102.5 PPG during the regular season, a far cry from its pathetic 92.7 point in the playoffs thus far. The last thing Atlanta wants obviously is to return home for a Game 5 tied at 2-2, so from a motivational stand point, this selection is about as strong as you could possibly ask for. Brooklyn has been pretty solid on both ends of the floor, in this series but note that it has in fact seen the total go OVER the number in seven of its last ten as a home underdog in the 3.5 to 6 points range. And note that Atlanta has seen the total go OVER the number in 22 of 42 road game this year; this play is strong from a trend based stand point as well. In my opinion, the situation and the trends do both indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
