This is a 10* O/U WEST-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the St. Louis Blues and the Minnesota Wild.
I played the UNDER in Game 2, an unfortunate "no-action" as St. Louis would score two empty net goals to "push" on the total. I'm not expecting another push today though, in my opinion the conditions are right for another classic, hard-hitting, low-scoring defensive battle. St. Louis goaltender Jake Allen returned to form in that one, he stopped 24 shots in the 4-1 victory: "We need him to rise up," coach Ken Hitchcock said of his young netminder. "For us to have success, our best players have to be significant, and that was a big step today ... We needed more of that and we got it." Allen would post a tiny 1.15 GAA in his final seven starts and has stopped 49 of 52 shots in his first two playoff games. Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk stopped 23 of 26 shots in Game 2, it dropped his save percentage to .909 in five stars this year vs. the Blues. Note that St. Louis has seen the total go UNDER the number in 14 of 26 this year after scoring four goals or more in its previous contest, while Minnesota has seen it dip below the posted number in three of four this year after playing to three consecutive OVERS and in 15 of 27 in trying to revenge a loss vs. an opponent. Play on the UNDER.
