AAA's 10* EAST-CONF. PLAYOFF TOTAL OF MONTH (+$53,000 NBA RUN CONT!)
(NBA) Milwaukee vs. Chicago,

Result: Win
Total: 188.00 | -105.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* EAST-CONFERENCE PLAYOFF TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the UNDER between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to fall below the posted number once the final horn blares. I had the OVER in Game 1 and these two teams would indeed jump out to a big offensive explosion in the first half. That momentum got carried over into the third quarter, but finally each team's defensive unit would wake up in the fourth quarter as they would then combine for just 33 in the final frame. The end result was never in doubt after the big three quarters of points (30-29, 30-22, 26-24, 17-16), but obviously it was a little close for comfort. I believe that what we saw in the fourth quarter of Game 1 is what we'll see to begin Game 2 and it's this situational factor that we can take advantage of. Also note that Milwaukee has seen the total go UNDER the number in 10 of 16 this year after a loss by 10 points or more and in 29 of 40 in trying to revenge a loss vs. an opponent, while Chicago has seen it dip below the posted number in five of its last eight as a home favorite in the 6.5 to 9 points range. As with almost all of my Over/Under picks in the playoffs, this one is situationally based and in my professional opinion, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move.
