This is an 8* play on the OVER between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
For a number of different reasons I am expecting this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. LeBron James is back in the Playoffs with the Cavaliers and he will be on a mission, I expect his resolute determination to rub off on his teammates and look for the home side to push the pace of this game from the outset. A faster game = more shots and more shots = more points. Of course, there's nothing more that the Celtics like to do than to get out and run, there's no question in my mind that this will be a wide open affair. These teams split the season series with Boston winning twice last week, the Cavs rested their starters in both games so that they could be fresh to go in the playoffs. So from a situational stand point, I think the stage is set for a shootout in Game 1, but also note that from an O/U trend based stand point, this play is about as strong as you could possibly ask for as Boston has seen the total go OVER the number in four of six this year when playing with three or more days of rest, while Cleveland has seen the total sail above the posted number in three of four in the same position. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the OVER as the sharp move in this one.
