AAA's National League BLOWOUT FAVORITE!
(MLB) Miami vs. Atlanta,

This is an 8* BLOWOUT FAVORITE on the Atlanta Braves.
For a number of different reasons I think this line is way off base and believe we're getting extremely good value on the home side in this spot. Atlanta opened the season with a sweep of the Marlins and absolutely destroyed pitcher Mat Latos in the process; suffice it to say I am expecting a similar result today. The Braves actually won five straight to open the year before yesterday's 4-3 loss to the Mets: "Six games in and we get our first loss on an 0-2 sac fly," ATL left fielder Jonny Gomes said last night. "162-0, I don't think we were banking on that." A date vs. Latos (0-1, 94.50) is just what the doctor ordered to get untracked, he would face ten Braves, recording just two outs, while permitting six hits and two walks in Tuesday's 12-2 loss, ultimately giving up seven runs while striking out no one for the first time in his career. The Fish are just 1-5 to open the year, most recently coming off an 8-5 loss to Tampa Bay yesterday and they've plated two or fewer runs four times, while being held to just three in the Braves opening series. The home side counters with Shelby Miller, who scattered four singles and two walks over five frames without getting a decision in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Miami, lowering his April ERA to 2.44 in 12 starts. I'm giving Miller the slight nod on the bump, the BRAVES a slight nod at the plate and that's more than enough to tip the scales in their favor, fantastic line value.
