AAA's 10* ART OF WAR SIGNATURE PICK!
(MLB) NY Mets vs. Atlanta,
Money Line: -117.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -117.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* ART OF WAR on the Atlanta Braves.
Julio Teheran is already 1-0 this year and his team is rolling, when the smoke clears at the end of this one, I expect the home side to find a way to get the job done at the end of the night. Teheran gave up one run off eight hits over six frames in his teams 2-1 win at Miami on Monday; note that Teheran posted a 2.11 ERA in 16 starts at Turner Field last year and is 3-2 with a 2.59 ERA lifetime vs. the Mets. Teheran and the rest of the Braves staff have been plagued by inconsistent run support the last couple of years, but so far Atlanta is averaging 5.25 runs this season, it would post nine hits, including three doubles and a homer in yesterday's 5-3 series opening win over New York. The visitors counter with Dillon Gee, who makes his debut tonight after going 7-8 with a 4.00 ER in 22 starts last year. Gee for the most part has been as solid as you could possibly ask for, but if there's been one consistently poor part to his overall game, it's been his play on the road where he posted a pedestrian 2-4, 4.22 ERA last season. Teheran gets the nod on the bump for sure in this one and in my opinion, this is in fact the very definition of great line value; play on the BRAVES.
