This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between Wisconsin and Duke.
As with most of my Over/Under picks (in every major North American sport), I feel that this is a great situational play as for a number of different reasons (mainly strong O/U trend based ones), all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest. As we can tell by the spread, the oddsmakers clearly think these teams are pretty evenly matched and that's the case at this point of the year. Duke has dominated the Tournament with its suffocating defensive style of play, allowing just 55 points per game, one of the best defensive performances of all time. Wisconsin would shock the world with a win over Kentucky in the Final Four, the team getting revenge for last year's Final Four loss to the Wildcats; can anyone say "letdown spot?" Note that the Badgers have seen the total go UNDER the number in five of eight when playing with one or less days rest this season, while Duke has seen it fall below the posted number in nine of 11 neutral court games this year and in five of seven when playing with one or less days rest. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
