This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the OVER between the LA Clipper and the Chicago Bulls.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. LA is without the services of Blake Griffin and Chicago won't have Derrick Rose in the line-up, but regardless, I think the conditions are right for a higher-scoring game today. Chicago is expected to have Pau Gasol and Jimmy Butler back in the line-up today after defeating Minnesota 96-89 on Friday. LA has for the most part looked pretty good without Griffin in the line-up, most recently coming off a 97-79 road win over the Grizzlies on Friday. The Clippers will be playing with revenge today as well after falling 105-89 at home back on November 17th; but note that LA is in fact 8-1 in its last nine visits to the United Center. Both teams have had plenty of time to adjust to their respective stars being absent, I look for each to push the pace of this contest from the outset and a faster game = more shots and more shots = more points. All signs do indeed point to the OVER as they savvy move in this contest.
