Total: 205.50 | -105.00 Under

This is a 10* NON-CONFERENCE TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the OVER between the Toronto Raptors and the Dallas Mavericks.
For a number of different situational and strong O/U trend based reasons, I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. The Mavericks possess one of the league's best offensive units and it got even better with the addition of Amare Stoudemire. The home side will look to take advantage of a Raptors team which is coming off a loss just last night. Dallas has won eight of 11, most recently a 92-81 victory over Charlotte on Sunday. Note that the Mavs are sixth in the league with 27.1 percent of their scoring coming from the 3-pointer. Toronto though will be looking to get back into the win column after stumblign in a 100-97 loss at New Orleans, a game in which it led for most of the game, only to stumble down the stretch. The Raptors also play with revenge after falling 106-102 to the Mavs at home back on November 28th. From an O/U trend based stand point, they simply don't get much stronger than this, note that Toronto has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of 12 when playing on back-to-back days this year, while Dallas has seen the total sail above the posted number in 14 of 23 this season following a non-conference games. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
