AAA's TOTAL "ART OF THE GAME!" (+$11,336 Y-T-D NBA!)

This is an 8* TOTAL ART OF THE GAME on the OVER between the San Antonio Spurs and the LA Clippers.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. A couple of the best in the West go head to head here, in my opinion all signs point to a classic shoot-out. Neither team however can be extremely happy at where they sit in the standings and because of that, I look for each to push the pace of this game from the outset; a faster game = more shots and more shots = more points. Currently the Spurs are in seventh in the West, despite winning 11 of their last 14 games of the first half. This is the start of San Antonio's annual nine-game rodeo road trip, we can expect a huge effort from the visitors as they look to start the second half, and this long trip off on the "right foot." Remember, the Spurs would go 20-1 after the All-Star break last season, this is the defending champions we're talking about here; all of the starters are rested and the veterans were actually used sparingly in the first half. The Clippers won't be rolling over though obviously, they'll look to defend their home court and will need everyone to be focused with All Star Blake Griffin sidelined with injury. Note that San Antonio has seen the total go OVER the number in two of three this year when playing with three or more days rest, while LA has seen it sail above the posted number in five of its last six as a home dog of three points or less. All signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move here.
