Boston has been rolling, but revenge is a factor which simply can't be overlooked in this one as I expect the home side to find a way to get the job done at the end of the night. I think this sets up as a letdown spot for the Bruins, they haven't played since a 3-1 victory over the Kings on Saturday. Boston has to be feeling a lot better as well after going 9-1-4 in its last 14, putting it in position to battle for the first wild card with Washington. Some times, winning breeds complacency throughout the season. But as mentioned off the top, the Rangers play with revenge today after falling 3-0 in Boston back on January 15th; in fact the Bruins are 6-0-2 the last eight in the series overall and 3-0-1 in the past four at MSG. That's some big time motivation for the Blue Shirts, but they enter this game with plenty of momentum themselves after winning two straight, most recetly a 6-3 destruction of Florida on Monday (I was on New York in that one): "We are getting to that point in the season where we've got to be desperate for points," Rangers' forward Rick Nash said after the win. "You look at the schedule and you are playing almost every other night, so to have this (four-game) homestand, we want to put some wins together." Pretty good line value with NEW YORK in my opinion, considering the massive motivational edges it has in this matchup.
