This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the OVER between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. I am primarily a situational handicapper at heart, but I don't follow any one particuarly handicapping methodology to the letter. I have always believed that being "flexible" with one's approach is the best way to secure longterm profits. One angle that I always like to exploit is lopsided numbers or trends and in this case, both teams have been playing to a ton of UNDERS, shifting the value to the higher number in my opinion. Note that Miami has seen the total go UNDER the number in ten straight games, while Chicago has seen it fall below the number in three straight. Also note, these teams have played to three straight UNDERS in the series, including their lone contest this year when Chicago prevailed 93-75 in Miami on December 14th. While I will be the first to admit that the "Law Of Averages" in flawed in many ways, I have always believed that lop-sided numbers have a way of naturally "correcting" themselves over the short, the mid and the long term. A whole bunch of UNDER trends collide in this one. Also note, this is in fact a position in which both teams have shown a penchant to playing to the higher number in as Miami has seen the total go OVER the number in 16 of its last 24 road games in which the total in the contest is set between 185 and 189.5 points, while Chicago has seen it sail above the number in 13 of 22 vs. teams with losing records this season. In my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this one.
