As primarily a situational handicapper, these are exactly the types of contests that I keep my eyes open for as the home side plays with the "double revenge" factor. Calgary would win 4-3 in LA on December 22nd before then beating the Kings 2-1 at home on December 29th. I think this sets up as a classic letdown spot for the Flames as well, they come in having prevailed in three straight and I simply don't see them extending their longest road winning streak in six years vs. this determined Kings team. Note that Calgary is in fact just 10-12 (-3.4 units) in its last 22 following a three-game unbeaten streak. As I like to say, desperation breeds motivation, in my opinion this line should be a bit larger, indeed making the value play on the KINGS tonight.
