Total: 204.50 | -107.00 Under

This is a 10* O/U COAST-TO-COAST EXPRESS on the OVER between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Milwaukee Bucks.
For a number of different reasons (mainly strong O/U trend based ones), I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. Neither of these teams have been playing to many high-scoring games of late (including one against each other earlier in the year), but I definitely feel that the conditions are finally right for a shootout tonight. Both teams come in motivated; the Wolves will be hungry to avoid a 14th straight defeat, while the Bucks are looking to avoid a fifth straight home loss. Minnesota will be playing with "revenge" here after falling 103-86 to Milwaukee back on November 26th: "We just keep pounding on that rock," Wolves coach Flip Saunders assessed last night. "Though it might not break, eventually if we keep on pounding it's going to break." One Minnesota player to keep your eyes on is rookie Andrew Wiggins who has averaged 22.6 points in five games and is shooting almost 52 percent while scoring at least 20 in seven of his last eight, most recently netting 25 in Wednesday's 113-111 home loss to Phoenix. The Bucks will look to take advantage here, they haven't scored 100 points in five straight games, but have won three of them. But as mentioned off the top, this play is mainly based on strong O/U trends, note that Minnesota has seen the total go OVER the number in 11 of 18 after three or more consecutive SU losses and in 11 of 20 when trying to avenge a home loss vs. an opponent. And note that Milwaukee has seen the total sail above the posted number in nine of 16 this season vs. poor defensive teams which allow 99 plus points per contest. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the OVER as the sharp move in this one.
