AAA's 10* NON-CONF TOTAL OF MONTH (EPIC +$31,460 NHL s/ 2013!)
(NHL) Columbus vs. Dallas,
Total: 5.50 | 111.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 5.50 | 111.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* NON-CONFERENCE TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the UNDER between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Dallas Stars.
For a number of different situational and strong trend based O/U reasons, I look for this total to fall below the posted number once the final horn blares. These teams played on October 14th and the Stars would pull away for a 4-2 win. Jackets' goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was not his normal self vs. Dallas in that one, he entered the 2014/15 season having gone 6-0-1 with a 1.82 GAA in seven starts vs. the Stars previous to that debacle. Dallas will be eager to get back to its winning ways after a 5-4 OT loss at Chicago on Sunday. The Stars are rolling offensively, but note that Colmbus owns the league's second-best power play kill at 24.0 percent. Note that Dallas goaltender Kari Lehtonen is 4-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA in his last four starts and owns a very respectable 1.92 GAA vs. the Blue Jackets as his lowest against any opponent. And note that from a situational stand point, this play is about as strong as you could possibly ask for as Columbus has seen the total stay below the posted number in six of eight this year after scoring 4 goals or more in its previous contest, while Dallas has seen it dip under the number in eight of 14 this year after scoring 4 goals or more in its previous contest. After taking all of the above factors into consideration, in my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move here.
