This is an 8* O/U WEST-COAST EXPRESS on the OVER between the Utah Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Neither of these teams has been lighting up the scoreboard of late, but I think this is a great time to pull the trigger on the higher number as this one sets up as a great situational/trend based play. The Thunder will still be without the services of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, but I think the rest will come to play today after a couple of lacklustre efforts; note OKC will be particularly hungry here to avenge a loss to the lowly Jazz just last week. Utah comes in on a tailspin, other than the win against the Thunder the team has looked pretty inept on both ends of the floor of late. The Thunder will be looking to take advantage and snap a six-game losing streak, which is the team's longest since 2009. Note that OKC has beaten Utah in six straight in front of the home town crowd. Utah though would love nothing more than to return to the winners circle obviously as well and will look to kick this powerhouse team while it's down, Alec Burks scored 20 points on 5 of 8 shooting with a career high 14 boards in last week's win. Utah will also be looking to take its frustrations out on someone after a tough 97-95 home loss to Chicago on Monday, Derrick Favors led the way in that one with 21 points and a season-best 15 boards. Note that Utah has seen the total go OVER the number in five of seven road games this year, while OKC has seen it sail above the number in three of five this year after three or more consecutive SU losses. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends all do indeed point to the OVER as the sharp move here.
