This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the Winnipeg Jets and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
I think these two teams will play to the lower number, in my opinion all signs point to the UNDER as the smart move here. The Jets will certainly be motivated as they look to avoid a third straight defeat, while at the same time handing the home side a fourth consecutive loss. Both teams will obviously both be highly motivated here. Note that Winnipege ranks in the top third in the league in penalty kill percentage at 84.5. Columbus has been decent on the powerplay, but has been outscored 52-30 at even strength: "We can't take time off like that in the middle of the game," said the Blue Jackets' Matt Calvert last night. "It sounds like a broken record, but we have to play a full 60 minutes every single night." Both teams goaltenders have struggled this year, but note that Winnipeg has seen the total go UNDER the number in five of six road games this year when the total in the contest is set at 5, while Columbus has seen it dip below the number in 14 of its last 25 when playing with two days of rest. A great situational play, I'm on the UNDER.
