AAA's 10* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS (36-23 +$6,125 Y-T-D NHL!)
(NHL) Tampa Bay vs. NY Islanders,
Total: 6.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
Total: 6.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Islanders.
From a situational, trend based stand point, this is an extremely strong play. Both teams can put the biscuit in the basket, but for a number of different reasons I think today's total will stay below the posted number once the final buzzer sounds. One angle that I always try to exploit is lop-sided numbers or trends. Tampa has seen the total go OVER the number in two straight and eight of its last ten. That includes a 5-1 win just last night vs. the Rangers. The Islanders have played to three straight OVERS, including a 5-2 setback in Tampa Bay in their latest game. Suffice it to say, with all of these OVER trends colliding, the UNDER becomes an even stronger play here. And note that New York has already seen the total go UNDER the number in three of its last four after allowing 4 goals or more this season and in 24 of its last 44 in the same position over the last two. In my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the sharp wager in this one.
