AAA's O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS!
(NBA) Orlando vs. Detroit,
Total: 191.00 | 100.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 191.00 | 100.00 Under
Result: Win
This is an 8* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the OVER between the Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons.
Neither of these teams has been lighting up the scoreboard of late, but I feel that the conditions are right for a shootout and look for this total to eclipse the number as the game comes down the stretch. Detroit is coming off lacklustre road trip, it beat OKC 96-89 in OT, but then promptly fell 95-88 to Memphis the following night: "We certainly have to get better," Pistons coach Van Gundy said. last nght "Its different things every night. It's a consistency issue. Obviously offense has been a major struggle. For us to win we have to win the rebounding battle and defend. Our defense has to become more consistent. We have to keep fighting and find some more offensive answers." Orlando looks to get untracked after a 98-93 loss at Washington on Saturday, however, despite the low-scoring games, note that the Magic have seen the total go OVER the number in six of nine this year when playing the role of underdog and in two of three vs. teams with losing records. And note that Detroit has seen the the total sail above the number in 50 of its last 76 vs. poor defensive teams which average 99-plus points per contest and in 12 of its last 19 after playing three consecutive road games. A great situational play as I expect each to get out and push the pace of this one from the outset, all signs point to the OVER as the savvy move here.
