This is an 8* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between Auburn and Georgia.
Todd Gurley hasn't played since a 44-17 win over Vanderbilt on October 4th, but he returns today to try and help Georgia get the final push for the SEC East title. Gurley ran for 773 yards and eight TD's in his first five games this year. Georgia though went 3-1 in his absence, a lone loss was a 38-20 defeat to Florida in Jacksonville on November 1st. Auburn will not only have to contend with Gurley, but also his backup Nick Chubb who ran for 671 yards and five TD's in those four games. But after their epic 63-31 rout at Kentucky this past weekend in which QB Huston Mason threw for a career-high four TD's, I think the team will have a much more difficult time this week vs. an equally as hungry Auburn side. The Tigers are looking to rebound here off a 41-38 home loss to Texas A&M last Saturday, dropping the team to a tie in third place in the SEC West. And note that the loss came with more bad news, as the offense is likely going to be without the services of D'haquille Williams, who injured his knee. The stakes are high to say the least for both teams, note that Auburn has seen the total go UNDER the number in two of three road games already this year, while Georgia has seen it dip below the posted number in nine of its last 16 vs. teams with winning records. This number is indeed just a little high, play on the UNDER.
