AAA's VERY EARLY *South Carolina/Florida* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER!
(NCAAF) South Carolina vs. Florida,
Total: 57.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 57.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
This is an 8* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the the UNDER between South Carolina and Florida.
These teams have been playing to some high-scoring affairs of late, but I think the conditions are finally right for a lower-scoring battle and definitely feel that the value lies on the UNDER in this one. South Carolina still has some time to salvage its year, but it's definitely running out of time. Florida though would love nothing more than to kick its SEC rival while its down and build on its own two game win skein (note that the Gamecocks have lost four straight SEC games). Expect the Gators to pound the ball today, South Carolina is allowing 5.9 yards per carry, the worst in the SEC and has been awful vs. QB's that can get out of the pocket. The strength of South Carolina is obviously it's offensive unit, it's posted a school-record four straight games with 500 or more yards of total offense (including a season-high 625 vs. Tennessee two weeks ago), but will now face the best defense it has seen all year; note that Florida is ranked fourth in the SEC in yards allowed (and note that Spurrier's offense hasn't scored more than 19 points in the three seasons that Muschamp has been at Florida). From a trend based stand point, this is definitely a savvy move in my opinion, as despite its high-scoring ways, South Carolina has actually seen the total go UNDER the number in three of its last five following two weeks off between contests, while Florida has seen it dip below the posted number in six of its last 11 following two or more consecutive SU victories. In my opinion, this number is just a little high, play on the UNDER.
