This is a 10* BK on Winnipeg.

Two teams in dire need of a win here, but one more so than the other.

I like the 0-3 Winnipeg Blue Bombers to finally recover and to hammer the Stampeders once it's all said and done. The general betting public is quick to back the home side here, but I'm predicting a blowout performance from the desperate visitors.

A game vs. 1-1 Calgary, which comes out of a weird early bye week, is the perfect opponent to get untracked against.

If recent history is any precedence, then the Blue Bombers have to liking their chances of a bounce-back this weekend, as Calgary hasn't won in this series since November 2021.

Remember, Winnipeg has been to four straight Grey Cups, so this steep drop-off in results is pretty shocking for a lot of people.

But now the overreaction is going the other way.

It wasn't for a lack of trying in the Bombers 26-24 setback last week at home to BC.

The Stamps were last in action two weeks ago and lost 26-17 to those same Lions. QB Jake Maier and the offense finished with 400 yards, but he had an INT and there were other poor/costly turnovers as well that led to their downfall.

Calgary's defense appears suspect and I don't think the extra week off helped anything.

I expect WINNIPEG to finally play a full four quarters and to continue its string of dominance over Calgary. So lay the points.
