Today I am taking Northwestern as 11.5 point home underdogs against Stanford. Northwestern is 8-1 under Pat Fitzgerald in season openers and I'm not sure you can expect for them to push that to 9-1 but I do expect them to be competitive. If they are able to run the ball a little bit with Justin Jackson who had almost 1200 yards and 10 touchdowns behind a mediocre offensive line. Also. Christian Jones, who is the Wildcats active leader in receptions is heathy after missing last season with a torn ACL. I think this game stays under 10 with the Wildcats dropping a tough one 27-20. Take Northwestern!
