The SB Side on Philadelphia. The Eagles on both sides of the ball have been one of the most complete teams in years. They are far better on defense and 46 of the 56 SB Winners have had the better overall defense. KC is ranked 16th on defense and the troubling part of that is that ONLY 1 Team has EVER WON a Super Bowl with a Pass defense that is ranked worse the league average and KC is ranked 18th. The Chiefs are ranked #1 on offense. However the Eagles are not far behind at #3 overall. In fact the Eagles are 2nd in the NFL in pass block efficiency. On Defense the Eagles are ranked #1 overall on pressure rate at 42%. They are just the 4th team with 70+ sacks and have the #1 secondary in football allowing the 3rd lowest average QB Ranking. They allowed the lowest pass yards per attempt.,both teams are 14-3 and were the 1 seeds in their conference. All time however, NFC Seeds have the better record when squaring off in the Super Bowl. Looking at playoff opponents the Eagles were 7-1 this year and at a whopping +865 yards. The Chiefs were 7-2 at +222 yards vs fellow playoff teams. The Key stat here dates to 1970 is to play on a team who won by 21+ points in BOTH the Divisional round and Championship games as these teams are rare and 4-0.
