The U.S. Open Total Games played is on the OVER 35 in the R. Nadal vs F. Tiafoe match. Nadal has won both meetings, both back in 2019. Things are a bit different now as Tiafoe is much better now and Nadal is great but not as good as 3 years ago. Nadal has restructured his serve to compensate for an abdominal injury and he really faced nothing he could not handle in the first 3 rounds and on Saturday he moved to 18-0 against Gasquet. Now enter the American who has not lost a set in the tournament despite playing very close and well contested sets, while really stepping up his game at key points in his matches. He now believes he is mature enough to beat a Nadal and while we wont call for an upset we can see that Tiafoe has enough fire power on his serve and a good enough ground game to extend Nadal and play long evenly matched sets leading to this match going over 35 games.
