Yu Darvish is back on track. The Rangers ace gave up one run on five hits with 12 strikeouts in 6 2/3 in beating Toronto this past Friday. Darvish is on his normal four days rest. Texas is 9-2 the past 11 times Darvish has pitched on four days rest.

Texas isn't good. We know that. But the Rangers do get up for games when Darvish is on the mound. The Rangers have been battered by injuries, but expect to get back Alex Rios today. The Yankees also have been hit hard by injuries and will be minus Mark Teixeira, who leads the team in homers and RBIs.

Darvish has dominated the Yankees with a 2-0 mark and 1.35 ERA in three career starts. The Yankees are hitting only .211 against him.

The Yankees are going with David Phelps, a bottom of the rotation type starter. New York is 2-8 the last 10 times Phelps has been an underdog.
