Battered by injuries to their starting pitching staff, the Dodgers once again are turning to James Paxton. Don't be fooled by Paxton's 7-2 record. He has a 4.38 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. He's in bad form, too, with a 9.95 ERA in his last three starts. The Red Sox hold the majors' fourth-highest batting average. 

The Red Sox are well familiar with Paxton, who made 19 starts for them last year. 

Boston starter Kutter Crawford is having a good season. But his ERA in night games is 3.49 and he's facing a Dodger squad that ranks No. 3 in runs and homers.
