Money Line: -120.00 Milwaukee (Away)
Result: Loss
The combination of Corbin Burnes and a rested Devin Williams for late inning relief is enough for me to back the Brewers at this low price.

Burnes is having another strong season with a 10-6 mark and 2.93 ERA. He was brilliant in his previous outing against the Giants this past Thursday giving up one run on three hits in eight innings. Burnes struck out 14 and did not walk a batter. Burnes also has a terrific history against St. Louis. He is 4-3 with a 2.73 ERA in 14 career appearances versus the Cardinals. Burnes is 2-0 with a 0.43 ERA in three starts against St. Louis this season.

Adam Wainwright still is a solid pitcher with a 10-9 record and 3.33 ERA. However, he is 0-2 versus the Brewers this year with a 4.70 ERA in four starts. The 41-year-old Wainwright may be showing signs of fatigue, too, as he has a 5.40 ERA during his last three starts.

The Brewers' bats have picked up. Milwaukee has scored a combined 20 runs during its last three games.
