Houser is a bottom-of-the-rotation type starter. He has a 4.83 ERA. Houser has allowed three or more earned runs in nine of his last 13 appearances. The Brewers' bullpen has gotten weaker with Josh Hader traded. Cincinnati is averaging 6.4 runs in its last five games.

The Reds resurrected Anderson. He'll be making his fourth start this season. The results haven't been pretty - a 12.60 ERA. Anderson can't expect aid either from a Reds bullpen that ranks last in the majors in bullpen ERA at 4.76.
