(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. Baltimore,

Result: Loss
I have nothing but respect for the Orioles this season. They have been the most profitable team for bettors by a wide margin. I have nothing but disrespect for how Tony LaRussa has managed this year. I think he's the worst manager in baseball as the game clearly has passed him by.

However, I've got to go with the White Sox here because Dylan Cease is pitching and the chalk price isn't enormous.

The White Sox are 12-3 in Cease's starts. He's a Cy Young Award candidate with a 2.09 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. He is fourth in the majors in strikeouts with 178. Cease is 2-0 lifetime in three starts against the Orioles with a 2.00 ERA. He faced them on June 26 and won, 4-3. Cease allowed one run in seven hittings. He struck out 13. Cease has held 14 of his last 15 opponents to one earned run or less with the Astros the lone team to get more than one earned run off him during this span.

Converted reliever Austin Voth gets the start for Baltimore. Voth has pitched wll for the Orioles since coming from the Nationals where he struggled with a 10.13 ERA and 2.14 WHIP in 18 2/3 innings. Voth doesn't figure to go that deep into the game. The Orioles' bullpen is underrated. But Cease trumps everything.
