(MLB) Oakland vs. Detroit,
Money Line: -115.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Loss
Nothing against A's starter Paul Blackburn. He's pitched extremely well so far this season. But the price is low enough to fade the A's on the road.

The A's were supposed to be bad this year. They are living up to that with a 10-18 record, including nine straight defeats.

Detroit has been disappointing, too. But the Tigers just got through playing seven of their last eight games on the road against either the Astros or Dodgers. Now they are home stepping way down in class.

Tigers starter Michael Pineda has allowed two runs or less in two of his three starts this season. Pineda is 4-1 lifetime against Oakland with a 3.05 ERA in 41 1/3 innings.

The A's rank 29th in batting average. They've scored four runs in their last four games.
