(MLB) Detroit vs. Houston,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -125.00 Detroit (Away)
Result: Loss
The Astros are going for a sweep of the Tigers here. But this has been an extremely competitive series as each of Houston's victories have been by one run. The Tigers have outhit the Astros in the series.

An inflated price on Houston starter Jake Odorizzi gets me involved taking the run line with Detroit where I have the plus 1 1/2 runs. The Astros have scored more than four runs only once in their last eight games. They've scored three runs or fewer in six of their last eight games.

Odorizzi pitched well in his last start, holding the Mariners scoreless for 6 2/3 innings in a 3-0 victory six days ago. But those kinds of outings have been infrequent. Odorizzi is a lower end starter with a 4.15 ERA. He was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in two starts against the Tigers last season.

This could be a bullpen game for Detroit. But I'll take the 1 1/2 runs with Detroit knowing this series has been extremely tight.
