Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl draw all the headlines for Edmonton. They are superstars. But lost in the glare of the brilliance of those two players is an underrated Edmonton defense that has been playing quite well. The Oilers have surrendered just seven goals during their last four games. 
Edmonton draws a Vancouver attack that is heavily crippled. Out are Tyler Motte, Justin Bailey and Elias Pettersson. In addition, Brandon Sutter, Jay Beagle and Antoine Roussell missed Friday practice with injuries. Vancouver has scored 3 or fewer goals in eight of its last 10 games. 
So expect a tight-checking defensive game from the Canucks, who should be fired-up after an embarrassing 5-1 home loss to the Canadiens in their last game three days ago. Prior to losing to Montreal, the Canucks had given up just four goals in their previous three games - two of which came against the high-scoring Maple Leafs.
