Except for the first period and overtime in Wednesday's Game 2, the Islanders have dominated the Flyers outscoring them, 7-0. 

Philadelphia jumped on Semyon Varlamov for three goals in the first 15:09. Islanders coach Barry Trotz then pulled Varlamov for Thomas Greiss, who shut out the Flyers the rest of the way until overtime in the 4-3 loss. It was the first time the Flyers had beaten the Islanders in the past six meetings. 
I'm far from sold on the Flyers, who were outscored in their opening playoff series against the Canadiens. Philadelphia was averaging just 1.4 goals during its previous 10 games before beating the Islanders in Game 2 due to its first period outburst. 

The Islanders were impressive in taking out the Capitals. The Islanders have bounced back with victories following their two losses during the playoffs.
Varlamov had been brilliant in net stringing together a franchise-record postseason shutout streak of 138:17. I expect him to come out strong after being embarrassed by the Flyers yesterday.
