Impressive. That's what you have to say about the Islanders' performance in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs when they dominated and took out the Capitals. 
The Flyers had to go six games to eliminate the Canadiens. Montreal outscored Philadelphia in its first-round series. The Flyers were bothered by the Canadiens' physical, aggressive style. Philadelphia averaged just 1.8 goals during the series. The Islanders are a step up from Montreal. 
The Islanders swept the Flyers during the regular season winning all three matchups.
