(NCAAF) Virginia Tech vs. Wake Forest,
Point Spread: 15.00 | -110.00 Wake Forest (Home)
Result: Win
Yes, Wake Forest is horrible. But Virginia Tech isn't any good anymore either. Frank Beamer has really slipped in recent years. The Hokies have covered only 33 percent of the time during the past four years.

Wake Forest has incentive as this is the final home game for 16 of its seniors. Virginia Tech doesn't have a strong offense or a good quarterback to lay this big road number, especially after losing leading rusher, Marshawn Williams, to a torn ACL. The Hokies rank 90th in the nation in scoring and 92nd in total yards. They have gained fewer than 300 yards during three of their last four games.

The Hokies are off a huge 17-16 victory against No. 19 Duke last week. It's going to be hard for them to take Wake Forest that serious. The Hokies do not have a good track record in these type of instances going 2-10-1 ATS versus opponents with a losing record. They also have failed to cover in 12 of their last 17 road games.

Wake Forest freshman quarterback John Wolford has been decent for the Demon Deacons throwing for 1,626 yards and nine TD's despite not having many weapons. So Wake Forest isn't barren at the most important spot.
