ASA play on Atlanta Dream +2.5 vs. Indiana Fever, 7:30 PM ET - These two teams have similar records with the Dream at 10-18 SU on the season, the Fever are 13-15 SU. Atlanta is the much better overall defensive team with a Net rating of 100.5 (5th), compared to Indiana’s 107.9 (11th). Offensively the Fever are 5th in Net rating at 102.2, the Dream are last in the league at 95. Atlanta has a healthy Rhyne Howard back in the lineup after missing an extended time prior to the Olympic break. Since the break, Howard is averaging 18.6PPG and nearly 5RPG. The Dream have won 3 of their last four games and the lone loss was by 2-points to the Mercury. The other three wins came against quality opponents in Seattle, Connecticut and Phoenix, all of which have been at home. Atlanta’s Offensive Net rating is drastically better than their season numbers after the break. They rank 5th in ONR in the last four games at 100.6. The Dreams DNR in that same 4-game span is 3rd best in the W. Indiana came out of the break with a pair of impressive home wins over Phoenix and Seattle before a loss last night in Minnesota. Indiana has a negative road differential of minus -7.6PPG and owns a losing 5-10 SU record. The Fever are 0-2 SU and ATS this season when playing without rest and they were blown out in both games. We like the Dream to win this game outright by 6 or more points.
