ASA play on 8* OVER 214.5 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors, 7:40 PM ET - This is a big contrarian wager with the Over but the oddsmakers set this number this high for a reason so we’ll go with the flow and bet Over. Consider this, these two teams met in early March and the O/U was set at 210.5. The two teams combined for 200 total points. In the earlier meeting in November, they scored 203 but there was a game in between when they put up 243. All three of those games had a total of 210.5 or less. Cleveland has scored 114 or more points in five straight games and their defense hasn’t been great allowing 109 or more points all five of those games, 131 most recently. The Raptors have been in a scoring funk with 93 and 99 points in their last two games shooting 38% in one game and just 19% from the 3-point line in the other. Toronto should find their stroke back at home where they average 109PPG on 44.7% shooting. Let’s not forget, the league average right now is 219.8 total points per game so we essentially need an ‘average’ game from these two teams to cash this Over.
