#884 ASA TOP PLAY ON 10* Youngstown State -115 over Detroit, Friday at 7 PM ET - What a tough spot this is for Detroit. It’s the Titans 4th road game in 8 days. They played last Friday @ Wright St (Ohio), Saturday @ Northern Kentucky, Wednesday @ Robert Morris (Pennsylvania), and now tonight back in Ohio facing Youngstown St. They were swamped by 21 points in their game last Friday but bounced back with 2 road wins & covers. We feel they are bit overvalued right now as we have YSU as a 4 point favorite with our power ratings. Youngstown is in a much better situation playing their 2nd straight home game after beating the top team in the conference, Oakland, here on Wednesday. The 3 top teams in the Horizon and the only 3 ranked inside the top 100 are Oakland, Cleveland State, and Wright State. The Penguins have proven they can get it done at home beating both Oakland and Wright State while losing to CSU in OT. Despite their recent 2 road wins, Detroit is still just 5-11 on the road this year with a -5 PPG differential. We like how YSU matches up here. Detroit thrives on creating TO’s and they take more 3’s than anyone in the conference. Youngstown ranks 3rd in the Horizon defending the arc allowing just 32% and the are they only turn the ball over 17% of the time (2nd least in the league). The Penguins have beaten the top teams at home and now we get them at a line where they just have to win vs a tired, road weary Detroit team. Lay it.
