#650 ASA FREE PLAY ON Missouri +13 over Auburn, Tuesday at 8:30 PM ET - Really tough spot for Auburn in this one. They are coming off arguably their biggest game of the season topping Kentucky at home on Saturday. The Cats were leading for most of the first half but lost their 2nd leading scorer TyTy Washington to an ankle injury (played only 9 minutes) and things went south in the 2nd half for Kentucky. On top of that, Auburn hosts Oklahoma on Saturday in what will be another huge game for them. This Missouri team is dangerous at home. They beat a very good Alabama team here, lost a tight game to A&M, and topped Utah. The Tigers are playing their best basketball right now with 3 of their most efficient games of the season have come in the last few weeks (vs Bama twice and vs Ole Miss). They were in a bad spot on Saturday facing an Alabama team they had just upset and now on the were on the road but they led for much of that game as well (led by 14 with 13:00 remaining in the game) before losing. Auburn hasn’t been nearly as dominant on the road as they have been at home this season. They do have 5 true road wins but 4 of those have come by margins of 9 points or less. All of their offensive numbers dip on the road including PPG, FG%, and 3 point %. We’re getting a huge swing in the number from last season as Auburn was favored by -2.5 at home last year (won by 6) and now they are laying 13 on the road. Missouri is always competitive at home in fact they’ve only lost by more than 14 points ONCE in their last 27 home games. Bad spot for the road team and value on the home team with this number. Take Missouri to hang in this one.
