#613 ASA FREE PLAY ON Yale -4.5 over Siena, Tuesday at 7 PM ET - Yale is picked by most to win the Ivy League this year and they are coming off an embarrassing 36 point loss @ Seton Hall so we expect a bounce back. Prior to that game they put up 91 points on UMass in a 20 point win. They are a veteran team with all upperclassmen in the starting line up. Those players have been at Yale throughout their careers so continuity will be on their side here. That’s because Siena is still attempting to incorporate 6 transfers into their line up and it hasn’t gone well thus far. They have lost 2 games in blowout fashion including a 20 point loss at home vs Delaware over the weekend, a team we have rated very close to Yale. Siena lost their top 2 players from last year, one transferred to Penn State and the other is playing in the NBA G League. Their absences have been obvious in the first 2 games. They aren’t getting it done on either end of the court shooting just 37% from the field while allowing 52% after their first 2 games. This transition will take some time for Siena and it won’t happen tonight facing a veteran team with a chip on their shoulder.
