Both teams rank in the bottom 5 in the NFL in defensive efficiency (YPP allowed). They rank 31st and 28th in defensive DVOA. Chiefs games averaging over 60 PPG and Tennessee games averaging 54.5 PPG. Last week Chiefs scored 31 on Washington and they turned the ball over inside the 35 yard line 3 times including once inside the 10. They could have easily topped 40 in that game. Tennessee lit up a very good Buffalo defense scoring 34 on Monday night. The Titans averaged 7.1 YPP vs Buffalo defense that came in allowing 4.3 YPP and 6.6 YPC vs Bills which were allowing 3.7 YPC. On the other side of the ball the Titan defense couldn’t stop the Bills who put up 31 points. Since Tannehill took over as Titans starting QB they are 25-6-1 to the OVER. This is absolutely going to be a game where each offense will have to keep up with the other. Both offenses match up perfectly vs the opponent’s defensive weakness as KC is poor stopping the run and Tennessee struggles vs the pass. Both teams are more than capable of getting into the 30’s here. This one goes Over the total.
