#105 ASA FREE PLAY ON Pittsburgh +1 over Philadelphia, Thursday at 7:30 PM ET - The Steelers have a game under their belts which we like. Don’t be surprised if the regulars play a bit longer in this one. Tomlin always puts a priority on the pre-season and his teams are 10-3 over their last 13 dating back to start of the 2017 NFLX. Not sure if Roethlisberger will play here but we like the back up QB situation for Pittsburgh with Rudolph and Haskins battling for the #2 spot. Throw in veteran Josh Dobbs as the 4th stringer and the Steelers have one of the best QB rotations in the league. Philly has an entirely new coaching staff and they are implementing new systems on both sides of the ball. They took a full week to put in the new offense adding a few new wrinkles each day. The problem is, they’ve looked very poor trying to make it work. It was noted to us by an Eagle insider that last Saturday’s practice the offense was outright horrendous. QB Hurts has been “off” the entire camp and continues to hold onto the ball too long. That’s a huge problem vs a Pittsburgh defense that gets after the QB as well as anyone in the NFL (led the league in sacks per game and sack %). Too much uncertainty for the Eagles playing their first game taking on a Steeler team that has a win over the Cowboys under their belt. Take Pittsburgh to win this one.
