Denver is in a poor scheduling situation here as they are off HUGE game/win yesterday over the Utah Jazz AND they have the Lakers on deck. This is the Nuggets 7th game in eleven days and 3rd in four with it being a back-to-back. Denver is less than 100% healthy too with several key players nursing minor injuries. Yes, we know Detroit is just 1-8 SU on the road this season but they also have a pair of wins in their last five games against Philly and the Lakers who are clearly two of the best teams in the NBA. Detroit has two players on their roster this season who were on the Nuggets team a year ago in Mason Plumlee and Jerami Grant. You can bet those two will have a little extra motivation for tonight’s contest and Plumlee should have an idea on how to contain Jokic who logged 37+ minutes yesterday. Denver is 5-5 SU at home this season with a +3PPG point differential. Detroit has a negative road differential of minus -8.8PPG so we just need them to play slightly better than ‘average’ to get a cover here. Plug your nose and bet Detroit!
