This Zips squad isn’t as bad as their record would indicate. They played a brutal non-con schedule, including Ohio St, Rutgers, and S Car. Now they will face a defense that may not be quite on the level of a couple of those teams, but it isn’t missing it far. They are 19th in scoring defense (19.3 ppg), and have had games vs ND and NC St.
The Huskies offense has been their weak spot the whole season, gaining just 4.9 yards per play (106th). The Huskies are going to have to do most of the heavy lifting in this one and they will be a tall task for a team averaging just 22.2 ppg, including 42 against a Western Michigan that is absolutely dreadful. They’ve averaged just 19 ppg in their other four and that seems like a pretty good prediction for this one.
