This game is an Over bettor’s dream. Bobby Miller has been dreadful all season, at least when he’s not being demoted to AAA. In 12 darts, Miller has a horrific stat line of 8.17 ERA and a 1.69 WHIP and opponents have averaged 5.75 rpg every time he takes the mound. In addition the Over has 8-3-1 in his dozen starts.

Marlins starter Darren McCaughan got traded Miami to the Guardians back in May. Cleveland then cut him and Miami picked him up in August. Then they decided he would be a starter, despite making just one career start before that. The experiment hasn’t gone well with him posting a 5.27 ERA, 1.46 WHIP in his three starts, with 35 runs total being scored in those three games.

The Dodgers have been top-3 in runs scored all season so they should be able to make hay against McCaughan. And while the Marlins have been run-challenged all season but they are facing a pitcher in Miller who has given up 23 runs in 25 innings since he was recalled in August.
