This is a Marlins team in the middle of a nightmarish season and currently holds the worst record in the National League. They've lost 10 of their last 13 and they square off against a Mets squad that has won 7 of their last 9 and pulled themselves into the last NL Wild Card spot.
Manaea is having a solid season and has been even better lately, posting a 2.02 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP over his last six, five of which resulted in a Mets win.
Cabrera has spent most of the season in the minors and, except for his opening start back in April, he's been absolute cannon fodder in the big leagues with an ERA over 10 and a WHIP of 1.54. He's made six starts and given up 8 homers so I fully expect Lindor, Alonzo, and Nimo to be licking their chops. I firmly believe this one will be over long before we get to the 9th inning.
