The Illini have picked up some steam, but a bet on them tonight would be more about their potential than their results. The Terps have been consistent, winning with an inside-out approach that's tough to defend. I'm not sold the Illini have the size and stamina to contend with Maryland for 40 minutes, especially considering the Terps' rest advantage.

Maryland beat U of I by 21 in Champaign, scoring 91 points on 50 percent shooting, despite going 3-for-12 from beyond the arc. They dominated inside, scoring 62 points in the paint. They also scored 27 points off 16 Illini turnovers.
