PRINCETON -6
(NCAAB) Bobcats (TXST) vs. Tigers (PRIN),
Point Spread: -6.00 | -108.00 Tigers (PRIN) (Home)
Result: Loss
The Tigers value rim-and-three possessions, meaning they either take the ball to the hoop or look for open looks from beyond the arc. That's how you win in today's game, but Texas State apparently thinks otherwise. The Bobcats do take a lot of close two-pointers, but avoid the three-point line for some reason. Last season, their 3PT usage was 24.2% and this season it's 24.6%. On top of that, they aren't effective enough at the rim (245th in FG% on close twos last season) to make up for their lack of three-pointers.

Princeton is the better team. It's well-coached and gave its starters a little extra rest yesterday when the score got out of hand. I believe they'll come to play against a Bobcats squad that hasn't been competitive yet this season, easily cover as six-point spread favorites.
