Florida vs Missouri (Gators -2.5)
(NCAAB) Florida vs. Missouri,
Point Spread: -2.50 | -110.00 Florida (Away)
Result: Win
The Gators got off on the wrong foot in SEC play, losing their first two games, but turned things around against Arkansas, scoring 90 points in a 22-point blowout win. While clearly outmatched in its last game against Tennessee, Florida appears to have the edge over Missouri.

The Gators' top five scorers all average double-digit points, and the emergence of sophomore guard Riley Kugel (24 points vs. Wake Forest and 20 points vs. Arkansas) has UF fans dreaming about the Big Dance. Leading scorer Walter Clayton Jr. isn't afraid of the big stage (23 points vs. Kentucky and 23 points vs. Ole Miss), senior guard Zyon Pullin is a threat from long distance (40.6%), and senior forward Tyrese Samuel nearly averages a double-double on 61.4 percent shooting. The Gators share the basketball (54th in assists) and dominate on the glass (1st in total rebounds), too.

The Tigers simply don't match up well with the Gators. Their interior defense is as soft as Charmin, as their opponents shoot 61.0 percent at the rim, and they rank 284th in total rebounds per game. The Gators rank 2nd nationally in offensive rebounds per game and the Tigers commit nearly 19 fouls per game, as well. I expect UF to set up camp in the paint, forcing MU into early foul trouble attempting to defend the rim.
